During his formative years in Oxford, Michigan, he was homeschooled alongside his three younger brothers, which instilled in him a profound sense of hard work and perseverance.
Central to his story is a longstanding passion for soccer, which he embraced at age two. This enthusiasm transcended mere participation; he became a skilled coach, impacting several organizations, including OnGoal Soccer, Michigan Futbol Academy, and Soccer Kickers. These roles not only cultivated his leadership skills but also his insights into teamwork, strategy, and the physical aspects of the game. Today, he remains actively engaged in soccer, participating in various recreational and semi-professional teams, including West Michigan Wrath.
His academic trajectory is equally impressive. He graduated from Bethel University, where he studied Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. His tenure at the McLean Lab involved intensive research on Gene Drive Disorders, enhancing his technical abilities and attention to detail.
